I am from Kolkata. Last week I travelled to Delhi and got my inguinal hernia repaired by robotic surgery performed by Dr Vikas Singhal at Medanta Gurugram. Undoubtedly he is an expert surgeon, very proficient in his calling. He is also very humble, polite, soft-spoken, kind, gentle and a punctual person almost saintly in disposition. One meeting with him was enough for me to be convinced to get the surgery done in the next available date. I got admitted in the morning of the surgery and got discharged the very next day and have been up and about soon after. Pain was much less then what I had expected. This, inspite of not being overloaded with medicines. Dr Singhal was always very approachable, reassuring and it was great getting operated and indeed a pleasure interacting with him as a person. My heartfelt gratitude to Dr Vikas Singhal and of course his entire group of efficient Anaesthesiologists, nursing and para-medical personnel and all the administrative staff who made my smooth recovery possible.
